MSA specializes in engaging diverse teams of student leaders as research and
leadership partners for improving schools. Through the SafeMeasures Process,
these student leaders take on the essential role of inspiring their peers to
engage in school climate data collection and school improvement efforts. These
student leaders lead the process of administering school climate surveys to
students, faculty and parent, then work with adults to analyze the data and
create action plans and improvement projects. We have seen student leaders
design meaningful and creative projects that have revitalized the relationships
between peers as well as students and adults within their school. The adult
leaders we work with tell us that their student leaders are vital partners in
their school improvement work.
