Think about how powerful it would be to have student leaders present data on school climate, safety, and respect to their teachers, helping them to expand their thinking about school climate issues and problems. Imagine these same students serving as small group facilitators and recorders as teachers generate a set of school improvement goals and action plans to address the needs they saw highlighted in their school’s data.
This webinar will take a closer look at the SafeMeasures process of using data and the collaborative action research process to improve schools. We will discuss how data can be used to help schools to see the perspectives of all people in their community, determine the significance of different issues, create action projects, and track progress on school improvement efforts.
